Just Cats and COVID-19

Dear Friends and Clients,

As Coronavirus (COVID-19) has begun to spread in the United States, we know that many of you have already taken steps to ensure you and your family's wellbeing. I want to assure you that Just Cats is serious in keeping you, your family and our team members safe and healthy.

We are monitoring the situation closely and following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Within our Clinic, we're focused on protecting your health and the health of our team. We practice rigorous cleaning procedures throughout the entire clinic. We are regularly sanitizing our entryway, bathrooms, PIN pads, counter tops other surfaces that people touch frequently. We strictly enforce personal hygiene techniques that are most effective at combating viruses, such as hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. And, we've asked our team who are feeling ill to stay home. 

We understand it is challenging to put our lives on hold as well. We understand the well-being of our pets is just as important to us as our own health. If you as our client are feeling unwell and your cat has a routine visit, please reschedule your appointment. If you are experiencing an emergency with your cat and you are unwell, our team members would be happy to assist you in getting your cat inside the clinic, we ask you remain in your car. We will also deliver food or medications to your car. If you are personally under quarantine and your cat needs medical attention, we will do our best to provide transportation to hospitalize your cat. 

We are also offering a larger supply of certain medications to reduce traffic through our office. We are encouraging our clients to order their medications through our online pharmacy and we also have the capability to send our Hill’s, Royal Canin and Purina products directly to your home. We are offering telemedicine through methods of Skype and Facetime for our patients who we’ve seen within the past year. 

Please be assured that we're closely following developments and will respond quickly as circumstances change. We are keeping up with all of the updates and will be changing and evolving our practices as we know more about this disease. We will stay calm and abide by all of the regulations set forth by the CDC. The health of you, your family, your cats, our team members and our communities are our first priorities.
