Once a year, you should take your cat in for a check-up. This will include a full physical exam, and may include teeth and gum cleaning if needed. Our experienced veterinarians will check the health of your cat from head to tail, and you will be very happy you came to Just Cats Veterinary Clinic for service.
For the safety of our patients and staff, please have your furry feline friends secured in a carrier or on a leash and harness for the duration of their visit at our clinic.
Bring in any medical history you have of your cat when you come to our vet clinic. It's best to keep a journal of your cat's health throughout his or her life, including behavioral shifts. If you have something like this, share it with our team. If not, let us know everything that you think will be important. The staff at Just Cats Veterinary Clinic can still work with whatever information you have.
NEW PATIENT VISITS
Welcome to Just Cats Veterinary Clinic! You may download a New Client Information form from our website, New Patient Center, Online Forms and bring to your first visit completed. We also recommend any prior medical history on your cat to be sent to us from your previous veterinarian ideally before your first visit if at all possible. This saves time at check in and makes your cat’s appointment go more smoothly.
We strive to keep the waiting time of our clients to a minimum. We recognize that your time is valuable. Therefore, we see our clients and patients on an appointment basis (with the exception of emergencies). We consider an appointment made to be an agreement and commitment between our office and our clients. If you are not able to keep an appointment, please phone our office 24 hours in advance (or at your first opportunity). This will enable us to help you with another appointment and to fill your slot with another patient in need.
Regular, follow-up preventive care is very important in maintaining the long lasting health of your cat. Therefore, we encourage our clients to adhere to the recommended visits. Patients under the age of 10 years are seen annually. We recommend those over 10 years to come in every 6 months, as many changes occur over this time.
As emergencies do arise, we ask for your patience and understanding. Occasionally, we must see an emergency patient before you or during your appointment. We will try to inform you of any changes necessary ahead of time. If you have an emergency, please call the office right away. We will do everything possible to get your cat in at the earliest opportunity. If we are out of the office or if it is after office hours, listen to our voicemail message and it will direct you to the correct number for help
